Agricultural Research Development Institute improved more than twenty different grass types in the past 30 years. The most prospective is Szarvasi-1 energy grass. The main agronomical features of Szarvasi-1 energy grass are following:
The energy grass has grayish-green and 180-220 cm high stalk.
The energy grass excellently tolerates
o 200-2100 mm annual moisture,
o 5-19 C° average temperature,
o 5-9 pH reaction soils
The annual biomass yield is 10-15 t/ha (on dry basis), the caloric value is 17 MJ/kg.
The energy grass can be cultivated at one place for even 10-12 years and resistant against plant diseases like brown and red rust.?

EURONIX Kft. as a family business produces wines in Gy?ngy?starján situated in the wine district of Mátraalja.
The vinery is growing grapes on its own 75 acre vineyard, and purchases grapes from other local vineyards. 4-5000 tons of grapes are processed in a vintage season. The processing is governed by up-to-date technology. Three famous cellars are places for fermentation, vine making, aging and storing. The historical cellar in Fajzatpuszta is more than 700 years old, the cellar named Zsigmond Haller is the longest straight branched cellar in Central-Europe (542 m). The third neighboring cellar is called Adorján.
The wines are aged either in chrome steel tanks or in oak barrels. 10.000 hl red vine and 40.000 hl white vine can be stored in the above three cellars.

Hilltop Neszmély Ltd. are a fully Hungarian owned model vineyard and wine producer. With more than 500 hectares under vine they produce a full range of modern and innovative wines.
Our main markets are Great Britain (80%), China, Canada, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland (10%), and Hungary (10%). Our main costumers include the major UK supermarket chains and specialist wine retailers.

- The breeding of Hortobágy white geese and Hortobágy Pekingese ducks is carried out outdoors; therefore these are qualified as bio products. Our breed of geese can be plucked manually 3 to 4 times a year, which is a highly unique achievement of the company. This way we can obtain the highest quality feather, or in case of processing top quality fluff can be achieved
- In addition to breeding and raising technologies, the company operates technologies incorporating the total scale of waterfowls, for the presentation and training of which we provide Hungarian subject matter experts. Zsolnay Porcelain Manufactory Joint Stock Company
The history of today’s Zsolnay Porcelain Manufactory reaches back to 1853, when Miklós Zsolnay established the first manufacture of ceramics in Pécs. Ten years later, Vilmos Zsolnay, son of Miklós took over the company and soon developed the small plant into a factory of European standard. International success was soon to follow: on the 1878 World Exhibition in Paris the jury praised Zsolnay’s collection as being unique and awarded them with gold medal. It was the beginning of a great international carrier: after the Exhibition, Zsolnay received orders from all around the world.

Kalocsa Porcelain Factory
The company was founded in 1971. Ever since the company has made all efforts to preserve the several hundred year old traditions and colourful folklore of the Kalocsa-region that is so beautifully expressed through the art of porcelain painting. Szolnok – on the bank of rivers
In 2005 the county seat, situated in the heart of the Hungarian Great Plain, on the high ground at the junction of the Tisza and Zagyva rivers, celebrated the 930th anniversary of its foundation. Since the neolithic period peoples of various cultures have stayed there by the rivers and their surrounding high ground. In the 12th century the town became a centre of salt trade and salt distribution.
Steam navigation on the Tisza starting in 1835 and the opening in 1847 of the second railway of the country (Pest-Szolnok track) brought a revolutionary breakthrough in transportation. Due to the railways, transport industry developed too.
Szolnok’s population of 76,000 makes it the eleventh most populous town of Hungary, an economic, cultural and medical centre. Szolnok used to be a transport centre, a bridge for people and goods passing through. It is hoped Szolnok will remain this status.
The Tiszaliget (Tisza Grove), a well looked after park area, awaits visitors seeking relaxation with lido and bath built with thermal and cold water pools, as well as guest-houses, a motel, a campsite, a youth camp and two hotels. The Town Sports Hall, the sports hall of the college and the sports centre with several small and large grounds are also situated in the Tiszaliget.

Wunderlich Winery is situated in Villány, in Hungary’s most successful red wine growing area.
